Privacy policy
- Personal data is processed by pro science – Natalia Osica, a business entity with registered office in Warsaw, at ul. Targowa 15/110, NIP: 9521906771, REGON: 147425228 (“Administrator”), and pro science Natalia Osica sp. kom. with registered office in Warsaw, at Solec 81B/73A, NIP: 7010698566, REGON: 367502119 (“Co-administrator”).
- We process personal data in the following areas: name, place of work, function/position, telephone, email, postal address and interests in order to:
- facilitate the provision of Public Relations services to persons whose data we process;
- send newsletters containing materials to support the work of journalists, including proposals for journalistic topics and indications of experts who can help in their implementation.
- The data is obtained from personal contacts and publicly available sources. It may also be compiled according to an algorithm for creating business e-mail addresses.
- The data is collected in pursuance of the legitimate interest of the administrator, which consists in facilitating communication when organising cooperation between scientific and non-scientific circles, shaping the image of Polish science and processing research grants. It does not contain sensitive data or special categories of data. In the case of persons who have subscribed to the newsletter through our website – their consent is expressed by forwarding their email address using the appropriate form on the site.
- The data is deleted upon the subject person’s demand or when the contact is recognized as obsolete. Where data processing is based on consent – until such consent is revoked.
- In the case of scientific grants, the data may be made available to authorised institutions. In the case of organising other types of cooperation, the data may be may be made available to the interested parties after informing the persons co
- Any person whose data is processed has the right to request access to the personal data concerning them, to rectify, erase or limit processing, and the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. - Any person whose data we process has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that we are not processing their data lawfully.
- We store data on our contractors’ servers both inside and outside the European Economic Area. In the latter case, we ensure their security by applying legal instruments to protect the rights and freedoms of the persons whose data we process, for example, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses.

- Website server logs
- Information about certain website user behaviour is subject to logging at the server layer. This data is used for website administration, to ensure its security, to protect claims and to ensure the most efficient operation of the hosting services provided.
- Server logs may include: the time of the request, the time of the response, the URL of the page previously visited by the user (referer link) – if the user accessed the Website via a link – information about the user’s browser, information about the user’s IP address and proxy server.
